Rob Brinkman, the Founder of Safe Harbour Retirements has been in the Financial Services Industry for over 30 years, opened his first investment firm for Edward Jones in 1987 and served many years as Registered Principal and Executive for one of the largest Investment/Insurance companies in the world. He speaks Internationally and was selected by Jim Collins, author of the New York Times Best Selling book Built to Last, to panel his pre-release of the again Best Selling book Good to Great.
For the past decade Rob has focused on mentoring and coaching business owners and high net-worth individuals on how to leverage their success more toward a life of meaning and significance.
Sarah pioneered the Elder Care practice for Safe Harbour Retirement out of her passion for helping the elderly. She began her work in the medical field as a cardiac specialist, with a degree from NYU. She has worked at prestigious Mt. Sinai Cardiovascular Institute and still sees patients in the Yale system 1-2 days per week.
Patients consistently share their concerns and frustrations surrounding their life in retirement. Will their income last? Can they afford Long Term Care? What about their children and grandchildren? Sarah realized there was a huge void where her older friends were concerned and through the Elder Care practice she helped build an expertise in the Veteran's Aid & Attendance benefit.
Bill Jolly was the president, director of Procter & Gamble Indonesia. During his long tenure at P&G he also held positions as the marketing manager for Singapore and Korea; regional marketing director, Singapore; and managing director, Hong Kong. After Procter & Gamble Bill was vice president, worldwide consumer products - Asia Pacific Region with Scott Paper located in Hong Kong. Bill is currently an investment banking executive with Scarsdale Equities, assisting in the areas of capital formation, M&A advice, corporate governance and strategic planning. Also he is active on several boards of directors. He graduated with a B.A. degree from Duke University and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Fred has one of the largest private tax practices in Connecticut, specializing in Professional Service Companies, Retail and Distribution, Real Estate, Entertainment and Athletic Industries, Manufacturing, Non-Profit Organizations including Housing Authorities and Cooperatives.
Fred also performs audits of housing authorities and cooperatives and provides tax-efficient strategies for investments, retirement plans, gifting, student financial aid, and elder care.
Ken is a 34-year veteran of the financial services and insurance industries, having begun his career in 1979 at Dean Witter Reynolds. He founded his own Private Wealth Management Company in 1988 and retired in 2015. Ken has been a Registered Investment Advisor with the Connecticut Department of Banking and a Registered Principal with Linsco/Private Ledger Corporation.
